Knowing which parts of your marketing actually bring in business
Google Analytics is free, and most business websites have it installed. Far fewer have it set up to answer the question that matters: where did this week’s enquiries come from? Out of the box it counts visits. It does not know what a lead is for your business until someone tells it.
Since Google replaced Universal Analytics with GA4 in 2023, a lot of accounts have been quietly wrong — migrated halfway, counting the owner’s own visits, or missing the form submissions and phone calls that are the whole point of the site. The reports still fill up with numbers, which is what makes it easy not to notice.
We set up and repair Google Analytics for businesses across Atlanta, GA and Greenville, SC, and turn it into a short monthly report you can read in five minutes. We have been doing web work since 2007, and measuring it properly is what tells you whether the rest of it is paying off.
- Tracking built around the actions that make you money, not page views
- Accounts owned by you, with access you control
- Clean data, with your own visits and spam filtered out
- Reports written for business owners, not analysts
what's included
Everything that goes into numbers you can trust
GA4 setup
A Google Analytics 4 property configured for your business rather than left on defaults — data retention, cross-domain tracking where you need it, and the settings that are easy to miss and hard to fix later.
Audits of existing accounts
If you already have Google Analytics, we check whether it is telling the truth: duplicate tags, missing pages, broken events, self-referrals and traffic credited to the wrong source.
Conversion tracking
Form submissions, phone number clicks, bookings and purchases set up as key events, so you can see which pages and channels produce enquiries instead of just visits.
Google Tag Manager
Your tracking managed in one container instead of snippets pasted all over the site, so changes are quick, documented and do not need a developer every time.
Search Console linking
Google Search Console connected to Google Analytics, so the searches people typed and what they did after landing sit side by side.
Consent mode
Consent mode set up so Google Analytics respects the choice a visitor makes on your cookie banner, rather than ignoring it or losing the data entirely.
Clean data
Your own visits, your staff and obvious spam filtered out, so the numbers describe customers rather than the people who work on the website.
Plain-English reporting
A monthly Looker Studio report on the handful of numbers that matter to your business, with a short note on what changed and what we would do about it.
how it works
From guesswork to numbers you can act on
01
Audit & Define
We look at what you have today and agree what counts as a result for your business — a form, a call, a booking, a sale.
02
Build & Test
GA4, Tag Manager, key events, Search Console and Google Ads conversions set up, then tested end to end before anyone relies on them.
03
Report & Refine
A monthly report on the numbers that matter, and adjustments as your site, your offers and your campaigns change.
if you run ads
Google Ads conversions that match reality
Google Ads can only optimize toward what it is told is a conversion. If that signal is missing, duplicated or counting the wrong thing, the campaign spends your money chasing it. We link Google Analytics and Google Ads and import the same key events, so the ad account and your reports agree on what a lead is — and our Google Ads management starts from numbers that hold up.
This is a good fit if
- You cannot say which channel produced last month’s enquiries
- Your Google Analytics was never properly rebuilt after the move to GA4
- You run Google Ads and are not sure the conversions are real
- You get reports full of numbers but nothing you can act on
- You are about to redesign your site and want tracking right from day one
Probably not a fit if
- You want tracking that follows individual people around the web
- You need a data warehouse or an enterprise analytics team
- You cannot give us access to add a tag to your website
- You want the numbers to look good rather than be right
questions
Questions we get asked
Maybe not. Plenty of accounts are installed and still wrong — counting your own visits, missing form submissions, or never told what a lead is. An audit tells you which situation you are in before you spend anything else.
Google switched it off in 2023 and GA4 replaced it. The data model is different, the reports are different, and history did not carry over. If nobody rebuilt your tracking for GA4, you have probably been flying without instruments since then.
We can track clicks on your phone number from the website, which covers most mobile callers. Calls from people who read the number and dial it separately need call-tracking numbers, which is a separate decision we can talk through with you.
It depends on where your visitors are and what you collect. Consent mode lets Google Analytics respect whatever choice a visitor makes. We set up the tracking side properly; the legal call on what your site must show is yours and your attorney's.
You do. We set up Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Search Console under your business and ask for access as a user. If we ever stop working together, nothing leaves with us.
Rarely exactly. Ad platforms, your CRM and Google Analytics count things differently and at different moments. The goal is that each one is correct on its own terms and that you know which one to trust for which question.
